A. Sign language interpreters shall adhere to the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf Code of Professional Conduct, the National Association of Interpreters in Education Code of Ethics, or the Louisiana Supreme Court Code of Professional Responsibility for Court Interpreters, as applicable per registration type. B. Sign language interpreters shall engage in continuing professional development that enhances skills, theoretical knowledge, and ethical decision-making.
