LAC 46:LXXXV.1049. Sanitation Requirements

A. A licensed veterinarian is required to maintain his entire premises in such state of sanitation as to comply with the public health requirements of the city and/or parish in which located and/or the public health laws of the state of Louisiana. B. Sanitary methods for the disposal of deceased animals shall be provided and maintained in compliance with all local and state health regulations. C. Contaminated waste such as syringes, needles, surgical blades, and any contaminated materials shall be disposed of in accordance with local, state and federal laws.
