LAC 46:XLV.11103. Definitions

A. As used in this Chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings specified. Board―the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. Committee―the Clinical Laboratory Personnel Committee to the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners, as established and constituted under R.S. 37:1314. Law―the Louisiana Clinical Laboratory Personnel Law, R.S. 37:1311-1329, as the same may be amended hereafter. Licensee―a person who holds a license, certification, or permit issued by the board, on the recommendation of the committee, under the law. Respondent―a licensee who has been named in an administrative complaint filed with the committee, alleging cause under the law for revocation, suspension, or the imposition of probation on the license, certification, or permit of the licensee.
