LAC 46:XLV.1359. Expiration of License or Permit

A. Every license or permit issued by the board under this Chapter, the expiration date of which is not stated thereon or provided by these rules, shall expire, and thereby become null, void and to no effect, on the last day of the year in which such license or permit was issued. B. Notwithstanding the provisions of §1359.A, every license, but not a permit, issued by the board under this Chapter to be effective on or after January 1, 1999, and each year thereafter, shall expire, and thereby become null, void and to no effect the following year, on the first day of the month in which the licensee was born. C. The timely submission of a properly completed application for renewal of a license, as provided in §1361, shall operate to continue the expiring licensing in full force and effect pending issuance of the renewal license. D. Permits are not subject to renewal, except as expressly provided in these rules.
