LAC 46:XLV.3951. Continuing Education Requirement

A. To be eligible for license renewal a MP shall evidence and document in a format specified by the board the successful completion of 35 hours of approved continuing professional education that includes: 1. not less than 20 hours of continuing medical education relevant to the practice of medical psychology; and 2. not less than fift15een hours of continuing education in psychology. B. A minimum of 25 percent of the continuing medical education required by this Section shall be provided by LAMP. C. At least two hours required by this Section shall be devoted to ethics relevant to the practice of medical psychology.
