LAC 48:I.7265. Personal Possessions

A. The facility may, at its discretion, offer to clients the service of safekeeping their valuable possessions. The facility shall have a written statement of its policy. B. If the facility offers such a service, a copy of the written policy and procedures shall be given to a client at the time of his/her admission. C. The facility shall give the client a receipt listing each item that it is holding in trust for the client. A copy of the receipt shall be placed in the client's record.
