A. The computer science content standards are organized into five core concepts based on the Louisiana Computer Science Framework (LSCF). Each concept is further subdivided into relevant subconcepts which serve as a way to organize essential knowledge or computing skills. B. The complexity of the standards progresses from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Within each concept, the content standards define the content and skills that students should master by the end of the elementary, middle, and high school grade bands. A standard represents a goal or outcome of an educational program and is not meant to serve as an instructional curriculum or assessment ask.
