LAC 48:I.9247. Annual Competency Evaluation

A. The direct service worker shall undergo an annual competency evaluation performed by a RN to determine whether he/she is competent to perform the authorized person-specific medication administration and noncomplex tasks safely and appropriately. B. The RN shall use professional judgment in assessing whether or not the tasks are being performed correctly and safely by the DSW.
