LAC 48:V.5513. Out-Patient Services

A. Out-patient services for CSHS patients may be authorized when : 1. the service is ordered by a CSHS attending physician, 2. the need for the out-patient services is directly related to the condition(s) being treated by CSHS, 3. the patient’s progress in treatment would be impeded or halted without the service, 4. the patient can benefit from the services recommended, and 5. the vendor is a Medicaid provider.
