LAC 28:CLXI.711. Renewal Applications

A. An application for renewal of a license shall be submitted using the department’s online electronic system, prior to the first day of the month in which the current license expires. B. Each center is solely responsible for timely completing the online license renewal application. Notice of time for renewal shall not be sent by the department. C. Failure to submit a complete renewal application in accordance with this Section, including the total annual licensure fee and all required documentation, may result in nonrenewal and expiration of the license. D. If a license expires, the early learning center shall cease operation by close of business on the expiration date stated on the license. An application for a new license shall be required if the owner desires to resume operations at the center.
