LAC 55:III.1403. Convenience Fee

A. Digital transaction providers may collect a convenience in addition to any other fee or tax collected when processing a transaction for the department. The convenience fee shall not exceed 90 percent of the amount authorized in R.S. 47:532.1(C) and shall be retained by the digital transaction provider. B. The convenience fee must be disclosed to the customer in a conspicuous manner prior to initiation of the transaction.
