LAC 55:I.1945. Gate Fees

A. Business Hours 1. For the purposes of this part, business hours will be Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding state holidays. 2. Gate fees shall not be charged during business hours. B. Gate Fee Charge 1. A towing or storage company that charges a gate fee shall not charge a fee greater than $45. 2. An owner of a vehicle charged fees in violation of this Chapter shall have cause of action to recover the amount of the excess fees, plus attorney fees and all court costs.
