C. Understand and apply the principles of electric and hot gas defrost systems in commercial refrigeration systems. D. Understand and apply the principles of flake and cube icemakers. E. Understand and apply the principles of water coolers. F. Understand and apply the principles of specific refrigeration system components used in commercial refrigeration, e.g: 1. low ambient controls; 2. evaporator pressure regulators; 3. crankcase pressure regulators. G. Understand and apply the principles of load calculation and piping designs in commercial refrigeration systems. H. Calculate the load, design the piping system, and design the control system of a commercial refrigeration system. I. Install/service commercial refrigeration systems. J. Install/service ice makers.
