LAC 28:CXIII.2505. Sale of School Buses

A. LEAs are authorized to purchase school buses and to resell such buses to any school bus operator employed by the LEA or with whom the LEA has contracted to provide transportation services for students. B. The bus shall be used by the operator to transport students on the operator’s assigned bus route. All mandates of Louisiana statutes must be met prior to the sale. C. LEAs must keep current records of sales of school buses. Information shall be provided to the DOE upon request.
