LAC 56:III.139. Accurate Cost Estimates Required

A. Entities requesting priority of funding shall provide accurate estimates of project costs. B. The state shall retain the entire amount of overestimated state and local project costs up to the total amount of any state grant. C. Any grant monies retained by the state may be used to increase grants to other funded priority projects which encounter actual project construction costs exceeding estimated costs.
