A. Water wells producing fresh water for water flood activities permitted by the Department of Conservation must be registered according to the rules, regulations, and procedures stated herein. B. Water wells producing saline water in connection with petroleum production do not have to be registered. These wells are regulated by the Louisiana Department of Conservation.
