A. The purchase of service on an actuarial basis and the transfer of service from other public retirement systems into LASERS requires an actuarial calculation by the system actuary. B. The cost of this calculation shall be paid by the member requesting the calculation. Payment must be made before the request for the calculation will be forwarded to the actuary.
