A. Options for Closure. An individual's case can be closed at any time in the vocational rehabilitation process when it has been determined that: 1. the individual is not available for services; 2. the individual is ineligible; 3. appropriate planned services, expenditures and reports have been completed, and additional services are either unnecessary or inappropriate, including post-employment services. B. Closure as Successfully Rehabilitated. An individual is determined to have achieved an employment outcome if the following requirements are met. 1. The individual has achieved a competitive integrated employment outcome with their chosen employment goal and that is consistent with the individual's unique strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests, and informed choice. 2. The individual has maintained the employment outcome for an appropriate period of time, but not less than 90 days, necessary to ensure the stability of the employment outcome, and the individual no longer needs vocational rehabilitation services. 3. The individual and the qualified rehabilitation counselor consider the employment outcome to be satisfactory and agree that the individual is performing well in the employment. 4. The individual is informed through appropriate modes of communication of the availability of post-employment services.
