A. Except as defined in this Paragraph, the terms used in this rule shall be defined in accordance with the definitions and usage of the Louisiana Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Business Sign―a separately attached sign mounted on the specific information sign panel to show the brand, symbol, trademark, or name, or combination of these, for a motorist service available on or near a crossroad or frontage road at or near an interchange. Department―the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. Specific Information Sign―a ground mounted rectangular sign panel with: a. the words "gas," "food," "lodging," "camping" or "attractions"; b. directional information; c. one or more business signs. Specific Services (logo) Signing―the Specific Services (logo) Signing Program consists of the various components including business signs, specific information signs (mainline and ramp) and trailblazing signs. The term "logo Program" shall refer to the overall Specific Services Signing Program.
