LAC 7:XXIII.2701. Handling Pesticide Spills

A. All uncontained spills of more than one gallon liquid or four pounds dry weight must be reported to the director of Pesticides and Environmental Programs within 24 hours by telephone and by written notice within three days. B. The costs of cleanup resulting from pesticide spills are the responsibility of the person who spills the pesticide. C. Cleanup of pesticide spills shall be approved by the director.
