LAC 7:XXXIII.317. Marking

A. A mark indicating voluntary exotic inspection may be applied only to animal carcasses, parts, and packaging thereof that have been inspected and passed in accordance with the standards set forth in this Chapter. B. Except as otherwise authorized by the department, the official inspection mark applied to inspected exotic animal carcasses, meat or meat food products under this part shall include wording as follows: “LA Exotic Inspected”.
