LAC 7:XXXIX.1001. Scope; Agencies Involved

A. Any state agency, department, board or commission, desiring to cut down or remove any tree or trees 10" diameter-breast-height or larger must first submit a request for approval to the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry, Office of Forestry, Box 1628, Baton Rouge, LA 70821-1628, addressed to the attention of the state forester. B. The request for approval must include information about what trees are to be cut down, their location, size and species. A site plan or diagram such that trees can be located by an inspector is required and also the intent or reason for the removal of the tree or trees.
