LAC 7:XXXIX.1500. Definitions

Commissioner—the commissioner of the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry. Forest Products—any tree, shrub, plant or related vegetation, or any part thereof. Landowner—any individual, corporation, partnership, association, trust, joint venture, other legal entity or combination thereof who owns 5 contiguous acres or more of land located in Louisiana. Written Contract or Agreement—a written and signed contract or agreement between the landowner or an individual with timber ownership rights and the purchaser of the standing timber that defines the terms and obligations of the timber harvesting.
