LAC 28:CXV.911. Planning Time

A. LEAs shall provide a minimum of 45 minutes daily and uninterrupted planning time, or its weekly equivalent, for every teacher actively engaged in the instruction and supervision of students in the public schools. Implementation of planning time for teachers as required in this Section shall not result in a lengthened school day or a reduction in student daily instructional time. B. This Section shall not apply to a local educational governing authority operating under the terms of a collective bargaining agreement applicable to teachers employed by the local educational governing authority.
