LED—the Louisiana Department of Economic Development. LEDC—the Louisiana Economic Development Corporation, acting through its board of directors. Program—the Economic Development Site Readiness Program (EDRED). Project—the location or expansion of a business or industrial facility in the state. Public Site—a site which a public entity owns or for which a public entity holds an option to acquire the ownership for a project. Site—immovable property, with or without improvements thereon, located in the state. Site Readiness Grant—a monetary grant for the purpose of enhancing the suitability and availability of a site for a project.
