LAC 28:LXXIX.105. Philosophy and Purposes of School

A. Each nonpublic school shall develop and maintain a written statement of its philosophy and/or mission statement and the major purposes to be served by its program. The statement shall reflect the individual character of the school and the characteristics and needs of the students it serves. B. The statement of philosophy and/or mission statement shall be reviewed annually and shall be revised as necessary. C. Written evidence that these requirements are being met shall be on file. D. Copies of the philosophy and/or mission statement shall be furnished to all staff members and made available to interested persons on request. E. Each school shall maintain on file the following: 1. written statement of philosophy and/or mission statement; 2. goals and objectives for the current year; and 3. plan for implementation of these goals and objectives.
