A. The teacher education program provides candidates at both the initial and advanced levels with information and skills for planning professional self-development. Unacceptable | Acceptable | Target No evidence exists that candidates were exposed to the need for ongoing professional development. | Candidates plan and pursue professional development activities required by the university and/or first employing school system. | Candidates develop an individualized professional development plan based upon their self-assessment, reflection, and long term professional goals.
