LAC 33:V.10905. Applicability of Regulations

A. For the purposes of this Chapter, the federal regulations, as adopted or amended herein, shall govern all shippers, carriers, drivers, operators, transport vehicles, engines, and trains: 1. to which the federal regulations apply; 2. engaged in the transportation of hazardous materials or hazardous waste within this state. B. The adopted federal regulations applicable to shippers, carriers, drivers, operators, transport vehicles, engines, or trains set forth in Subsection A, shall be amended as follows. 1. When applicable, the words Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections, Office of State Police, shall be added where Department, Director, U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, Bureau of Motor Carrier Safety, Office of Motor Carrier Safety, FAACivil Aviation Security Office, U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Transportation, or Captain of the Port appear. 2. Where special forms or procedures are required by 49 CFR, substitute the compatible Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections, Office of State Police forms or procedures, if such are required by the state.
