Visiting Area Officer

The responsibilities of the visiting area officer shall include, but are not limited to: (1) Maintaining safety and security; (2) Enforcing 103 CMR 483.00 and the institution's procedures on visiting; (3) Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the visiting room; (4) Appropriately processing and providing all required information to visitors; and (5) Supervising the incarcerated or civilly committed individuals and visitors.
