Test for Ignitability of Waste

(1) The flash point of liquids shall be determined by any of the following methods: (a) A Pensky-Martens Closed Cup Tester, using the test method specified in ASTM Standard D-93-79 or D-93-80, and/or "Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Waste, Physical/Chemical Methods", as incorporated by reference at 310 CMR 30.012; (b) A Setaflash Closed Cup Tester, using the test method specified in ASTM Standard D­ 3278-78; or (c) An equivalent method.
