Purpose and Scope

310 CMR 40.0340 through 310 CMR 40.0347, cited collectively as 310 CMR 40.0340: (1) identify and otherwise describe those oils and hazardous materials which are subject to 310 CMR 40.0000; (2) set forth the criteria used by the Department to list certain oils and hazardous materials at 310 CMR 40.1600 and to identify the characteristics of unlisted hazardous materials as set forth in 310 CMR 40.0347; and (3) set forth the procedures for adding and deleting oil or hazardous material to or from 310 CMR 40.1600.
