Possible Outcomes

(1) The following outcomes are possible upon completion of a Phase II Comprehensive Site Assessment: (a) Comprehensive Remedial Actions are necessary at the site to achieve a Permanent or Temporary Solution as described in 310 CMR 40.1000. A Phase III study for the identifi­ cation, evaluation and selection of Comprehensive Remedial Action Alternatives as described in 310 CMR 40.0850 is necessary to select a remedial action alternative; or (b) the requirements of a Permanent Solution under 310 CMR 40.1000 have been met, and a Permanent Solution Statement supported by information provided in the Phase II report shall be submitted to the Department.
