Reportable Releases

For each reportable release pursuant to 310 CMR 40.0000: Massachusetts Contingency Plan, the Owner or Operator shall provide the following information to the Department, in a format provided by the Department, in accordance with 310 CMR 80.23(3)(c): (a) The source of each reportable release from a UST system, i.e. the UST component or piece of equipment that failed, if known; and (b) The cause of each reportable release from a UST system, i.e. the reason for the failure, if known.
