Enforcement

The Department reserves the right to withhold grant funding, including without limitation, funding under the State 911 Department Support and Incentive Grant, from a PSAP that fails to comply with the requirements of these regulations, and the Department further reserves the right to notify state and/or local authorities or officials that funding is being withheld on such grounds. Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 6A, § 18E, the Attorney General may, at the request of the Department or on the Attorney General's own initiative, institute civil proceedings to enforce the provisions of 560 CMR 5.00. 5 .13: Severability If any provision of 560 CMR 5.00, or the application thereof, is held, adjudged, or deemed invalid, such finding of invalidity shall not affect other provisions or application, and to that end the provision of 560 CMR 5.00 are severable.
