Extension of Time and Additional Information

The HearingOfficer mayextend a date for a hearing for good cause if it is requested in writing by the Appellant or the Area Agency. If the Hearing Officer deems it necessary, he may seek additional information to perfect the request for a hearing or to clarify the facts and issues relative to the dispute.
