Criteria of Adverse Effect

Adverse effects on State Register properties may occur under conditions which include but are not limited to: (a) the destruction or alteration of all or part of a State Register property; (b) the isolation or alteration of a State Register property from its surrounding environment; (c) the introduction of visual, audible, or atmospheric elements that are out of character with, or alter the setting of the State Register property; (d) the neglect of a State Register property resulting in deterioration or destruction; or (e) the transfer or sale of a State Register property without adequate conditions or restrictions regarding preservation, maintenance, or use.
