Procedure for Obtaining Certificate of Occupancy

A certificate of occupancy shallnot be issued until an application containing information as required by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health has been submitted to and approved by said Department. Such application shall be obtained from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, completed by the operator and returned to said Department at least 21 days prior to the expected opening date of the farm labor camp; provided, that in the case of an emergency where a farmer is threatened by loss of crop he may apply in writing to the said Department asking for a waiver of the 21 day notice and requesting an immediate inspection of the quarters to be occupied.
