Bathing Facilities

Each facility shall have at least one shower or bathtub with hot and cold running water for the first twelve inmates and then one for each additional 15 inmates. The Program Director may grant a waiver to 105 CMR 451.119 to allow a higher ratio in a particular area of an existing facility, if he/she finds that in the area affected, inmates must be individually supervised for securityreasons whenbathing or showering, and bathing or showering facilities are adequate to allow daily bathing or showering at reasonable times of the day.
