Catalytic Converters

Installation of the catalytic converter must be done by a qualified individual familiar with the resurfacing equipment. Anyrepair or maintenance work involving the catalytic converter must also be done by a qualified individual. Suchindividual(s)must be familiar with the proper installation techniques and servicing recommended by the catalytic converter manufacturer. By signing his name in the record keeping log as required by 106 CMR 675.007(C), the individual installing or servicing the catalytic converter shall certify that the installation or maintenance is consistent with the recommendations of the manufacturer of the catalytic converter.
