Responsibility for Notification of Changes

The refugee is required to report to the Case Management Provider within five working days any changes in his or her circumstances that may affect the assistance unit's eligibility or grant amount. The only exception to this timeframe is for a refugee who is receiving Refugee Cash Assistance or Refugee Medical Assistance while an application for SSI is pending. In this case, the refugee must notify the Case Management Provider within one working day of receiving an SSI award letter from the Social Security Administration.
