Community Behavioral Health Support and Navigation

(A) Conditions of Payment. Community behavioral health support and navigation is covered when a participant has behavioral health needs, such as a psychiatric diagnosis or substance use disorder(s), that interfere with their ability to access essential medical and behavioral health services. (B) Recordkeeping. In addition to the requirements of 130 CMR 630.441, the provider must maintain records that include detailed descriptions of community behavioral health support and navigation services provided and documentation of all units of services.
