Rule 11-302. Definitions

The following definitions apply in this Chapter: (a) Statutory Definitions. The definitions in Code, Family Law Article, § 5-301 are applicable to this Chapter. Cross reference: See Code, Family Law Article, § 5-301 for definitions of “caregiver,” “child,” “developmental disability,” “guardianship,” “identifying information,” “parent,” and “party.” (b) Additional Definitions. (1) CINA. “CINA” means a child in need of assistance under Chapter 200 of these Rules. (2) Local Department. “Local department” means the local department of social services for the county in which the court is located.
