Rule 16-406. Notice to the Appellate Court
Upon the filing of (1) a notice of appeal or application for leave to appeal to the Appellate Court, (2) a timely motion pursuant to Rule 2-532, 2-533, or 2-534 if filed after the filing of a notice of appeal, or (3) an order striking a notice of appeal pursuant to Rule 8-203, the clerk of the circuit court immediately shall send via the MDEC system a copy of the paper filed to the Clerk of the Appellate Court. If a notice of appeal is accompanied by a Civil Appeal Information Report required by Rule 8-205, the Information Report shall be transmitted in the same manner as the notice of appeal.
