Re: Extensions of Insurance Licenses
This Bulletin is issued to advise all Maryland Insurance Licensees that the Maryland Insurance Administration will no longer automatically extend expiration dates beyond June 30, 2021 due to the executive orders issued by Governor Hogan in response to the current state of emergency.
Individuals required to complete Maryland continuing education (CE) must have all CE hours completed prior to submitting their renewal application. Prometric is the Maryland Insurance Administration's vendor for continuing education services. For information regarding course offerings or to view your continuing education transcript, please visit www.sircon.com (Look-up Courses or Transcript).
License renewal applications and renewal fees may be submitted electronically through NIPR (www.nipr.com).
Additional license renewal information can be found on the Maryland Insurance Administration website at: insurance.maryland.gov/Producer/Pages/Apply-Renew-License.aspx. You may verify your license status and expiration date by using the licensee Lookup Search: sbs.naic.org/solar-external-lookup.
