New Process for Filing Certain Annual Life and Health Reports

BULLETIN 21-21 To: All Insurers, Non-Profit Health Service Plans, Health Maintenance Organizations Re: New Process for Filing Certain Annual Life and Health Reports Date: August 25, 2021 The Maryland Insurance Administration (“MIA”) has implemented a new process for the submission of certain annual Life and Health reports. Effective as of the date of this Bulletin, the annual reports shown in the table below should be submitted electronically to lifeandhealthreports.mia@maryland.gov. All correspondence related to these filings will be transmitted through this new email mailbox. For any questions, contact the designated MIA staff responsible for each report.
