BULLETIN 25-11 Date: June 25, 2025 To: All Insurance Producers and Insurers Re: Applications Requested for Advisory Boards Section 10-110 of the Insurance Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, authorizes the Commissioner to appoint an advisory board for life and health insurance and an advisory board for property and casualty insurance to assist the Commissioner in reviewing continuing education courses, examinations, and other matters relating to the education and qualification of insurance producers. There are currently vacancies on the Life and Health and the Property and Casualty Advisory Boards. If you are an actively licensed producer, including a title producer, or an employee or officer of an insurer with experience in life and health insurance or property and casualty insurance, and you are interested in serving as a volunteer member on either of the advisory boards, please complete the Producer Licensing Advisory Board Member Application found at the following link: https://insurance.maryland.gov/Producer/Documents/Pruducer-Licensing-Advisory-Board- Application.pdf Selected candidates will be appointed for a 4-year term. The Commissioner may stagger the terms of members. All applications must be received no later than August 1, 2025. Completed applications should be emailed to Arica Cole, Producer Licensing Customer Service Supervisor and Producer Advisory Board Liaison, at arica.cole@maryland.gov.
