Rate and Form Filing Fees

TO: RATE AND FORM FILING DEPARTMENT Property and Casualty Insurance Companies Title Insurance Companies Rating Organizations RE: Rate and Form Filing Fees DATE: June 4, 1999 BULLETIN: Property & Casualty 99-14 Chapter 774 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1998 enacted new provisions in Maryland governing payment of the fee that must accompany each rate and form filing. As provided in §2-112(a)(11) of the Insurance Article, the fee increases to $125, effective July 1, 1999. Rate and form filing will not be reviewed unless the appropriate filing fee accompanies the filing.
