Stateelectiveexecutiveofficers;term,election. Sec.21.Thegovernor,lieutenantgovernor,secretaryofstateandattorneygeneralshallbe electedforfour-yeartermsatthegeneralelectionineachalternateeven-numberedyear. Lieutenantgovernor,secretaryofstateandattorneygeneral,nomination. The lieutenant governor, secretary of state and attorney general shall be nominated by partyconventionsinamannerprescribedbylaw.Inthegeneralelectiononevoteshallbecast jointlyforthecandidatesforgovernorandlieutenantgovernornominatedbythesameparty. Secretaryofstateandattorneygeneral,vacanciesinoffice. Vacancies in the office of the secretary of state and attorney general shall be filled by appointmentbythegovernor.
