Rule 2023. An employer shall test the knowledge and ability of an employee before authorizing the employee to operate a crane or cab-operated or pulpit- operated monorail equipment. The test shall determine all of the following with respect to the employee: (a) Operating ability. (b) Knowledge of equipment. (c) Knowledge of daily checks. (d) Knowledge of the use of fire extinguishers.
