R 408.15358 Cant hooks, cant dogs, tongs, and carrying bars.

Rule 5358. (1) The hooks of a cant hook, cant dog, tongs, or carrying bar shall be firmly set before applying pressure. (2) The point of a hook shall be not less than 2 inches (50.8 mm) long and maintained sharp. (3) Other employees shall be warned and in the clear before a log is moved. (4) When rolling a log, the employee shall stand to the rear and uphill.
